No you dont have to have a UKARA number but it makes things alot quicker, at the point of first registration if you have a UKARA number your details will be confirmed with the UKARA database and you will get full access. A form will then be sent by e-mail for you to complete and have verified by the site you have membership. once returned your account will be verified and will run until the date your site membership expires. At this point we will confirm you have renewed and extend your account for a further year. If you dont have a UKARA registration or you give slightly incorrect information that stops us finding you on the UKARA database, your registration will remain open and suspended giving you no access. You will still recieve the form by e-mail to be completed and verified by your site, once this has been returned and confirmed you will be given full access and verified. Yes, we need all members to complete and have this form verified by the site your membership is held. This is to protect all sellers and buyers under the VCRact exemption. If a transaction fails your course of action is different for each reason.
The buyer does not pay, then you will still have your item so you have not lost out other than the listing fee, this will be returened to you in the form of a credit to relist it, you should then make a hnegative comment on the failed buyers account to warn others.
Seller does not send item, if you have paid for an item yet not sent, first thing you do is lodge a complaint with Paypal if that is how you paid for it and they will freeze the funds and launch an investigation. this will usually lead to the return of your money.
